cleghornm
Has anyone designed an IRS for the S197 platform, that could be retroactively fitted to our cars. Or would the cost just be too much? Thanks Edited May 31, 2013 by cleghornm
OsirisGT500
I don't know anyone who has used it. I have never heard of anyone even buying it. http://mustangirs.com/products.php
Kevin Patten
Those be the guys - back in the 90's they ran a promo for the early car IRS which was used in the original "Green Hornet" . The design has been updated and now they have added one for the S197 platform. They have been in Utah for as long as I have known.
NMAv
I'd be interested in hearing some feedback on how it handles.
TurboGT
Great idea, but IMHO - spend the money on a full CorteX or Griggs suspension and Torsen diff. At the end of the day you'll be money ahead and have a better handling car than with an IRS alone. I admit that I'm slightly biased though.
