yoggiebhr
Hey Jer, Have you had any more thoughts about doing the blue Shelby GT cam covers that we talked about when I visited in Feb.? I know things have been crazy as hell there. Thanks much! Gregg (Yoggiebhr)
yoggiebhr
No love for the concept of blue cam covers with Shelby laser etched on them (like the black ones)?
bnoslo
Ok, i'll chime in with you. I like the blue covers, but i like a darker blue than what ford racing has on their's, it's just too light. If it was more of the guardsman blue, and have the Berg snake etched along with the Shelby GT, i think that would look very cool.
yoggiebhr
I like the black Shelby cam covers (with the "racetrack" Shelby emblem) but in blue. I agree the blue that's on the Ford racing covers is a bit bright, but its very close to good ole Ford blue. I've also wondered, does anyone know how hot the stock cam covers get? Would a set painted Vista blue hold up under the heat?
roblectric
Powder coating should withstand the heat. May take mine off this winter and get it done.
