Phone button

On my 2009 KR (Shaker 1000) the phone button does absolutely nothing. I recently purchased a new owner's manual and it doesn't say much another than, "no phone" when pressed. Guess what? My radio displays, "no phone" when the button is pressed. I have searched a few threads and some have said this button mutes the radio, cd, sat, etc., but mine doesn't mute anything. Has anyone figured out the purpose of this button? Also, what are the two mics above the maplights. They look like mics. Was/is there an option to add a bluetooth setup? I've been searching for answers, but so far my searches have come up empty.

The phone button does nothing and and won't no matter what you do or add. The "mics" are for the proximity sensors for your factory alarm system.
