Kevin Patten
Cut up the drivers door on 07SGT2425 yesterday - it's starting to look like a race car inside now with no interior ! It was so fricking cold I could barely stand using the cut off wheel / grinder even with gloves on ! Hoping it will be better once I start doing the welding ( heat !) . Kevin Patten
Back to scraping out seam sealer and chauking out of the interior of a car ( this time on 07SGT2425 ) Have I ever told anyone how much a pain this is ! Thankfully redneckgt is helping in on the scraping and removal .
Kevin Patten
Pulled the heater box and under dash ducting out today in 07SGT2425 and Frank came over and pulled the front and rear glass off of the car so now we can get down to some serious cutting and welding in the interior and get it prepped for the cagework . Kevin Patten
Well it's official - I had the SFR SCCA traveling tech come by today and inspect 07SGT4755 and he issued me an official log book thus certifying the car legal for competition in SMG class in the SFR SCCA region . Not only did I get a log book but he also performed an annual tech inspection for the 2014 racing season and stamped the roll cage with a matching number to the log book. Always good to have documentation - even on a race car.

Kevin Patten
Started taking out uneeded wiring on 07SGT2425 today - got about a 1/4 mile of it sitting on the floor along with switches ( door lock activators , power window switches , speaker wiring , etc. ) Got every thing not needed cleared out from the dash to the back of the car. Had to make a couple of jumper leads by the SJB (C210 connector ) to redirect curcuits because of some of the loop wiring Ford does. Glad I found and bought the factory wiring manual on e-bay - sure came in handy !

You added in a gratuitous butt shot of the car - had to pull the rear bumper in order to weld on the FRPP rear tow hook bracket to the bumper beam. Kevin Patten
Finished off the wiring on 07SGT2425 put the dash assembly back in and checked the electrical systems - ALL SYSTEMS GO ! So we pulled it back out and started fabrication/welding on the firewall blockoff plates , dead brake pedal box , and the front cage "A" piller base mounts . Tired -- long day .
