Kevin Patten
I'll be taking the #2425 car over to Borelli / TPS facility on Sunday ( Nov. 10th ) to get on the dyno for a tune to get within the SPEC MUSTANG requirements . Scheduled for a 11:00 AM time on the dyno. Stop on by and check it out . They are having an open house , car show , and BBQ lunch .
Kevin Patten
I got bumped up to 10:00 AM for the dyno on Sunday .
Kevin Patten
Was not able to get on the dyno today because of it not being completely installed and able to do the tuning needed . Others got on to do just power pulls . Hopefully we can get on later this week .
Kevin Patten
Well I got 07SGT2425 on the dyno today They actually had to de-tune the car to get it within the rules perimeter . The initial readings showed 360 RWTQ and we are only allowed to had 325 RWTQ . I also got to take 07SGT4755 down the street today so it looks like BOTH SGT SPEC MUSTANGS are going to Laguna Seca on the 29th for a shake down run. Hopefully I'll get some pics of the 2 cars together on the track and post them here. Today was a good day ! Russ' car has 314.4 RWHP and 324.8 RWTQ and mine has 314.7 RWHP and 325 RWTQ . The class rules limit us at 315 RWHP and 325 RWTQ so I think that we have hit the mark as close as possible .

Kevin Patten
Honor system for th Honor system for tuning numbers? NO , SFR SCCA makes you do a dyno pull at Thunder Hill Raceway ( MCE shop dyno ) to put on record your numbers . They also have one at Sonoma Raceway and they check for 92db sound at all 3 tracks in the region which is our group sound limit .
Kevin Patten
Almost set for Laguna Seca on the 29th . 07SGT2425 is ready to go ( Russ coming over on Sunday to load it into his trailer ) and 07SGT4755 is getting the final touches done tomorrow and Saturday so I'll bring it home Tuesday . Just hope that the Lightning will make it up the hill at the track entry . GotBlueMilk will be there taking pictures. It looks promising for a good shakedown on both cars . Kevin Patten
Well 07SGT4755 is set to go , for those who always are asking , here's the details; 106.6" wheelbase on both sides , 72.3" front track width , 72.9" rear track width , 129.0" diagonals , +7.5 degrees caster on both sides , -2.8 degrees camber on both sides , zero toe ( to start off with ) 50.0% cross weight , 51.7% left side weight , 46.0% rear weight and a total weight with driver @ 3565 lbs. ( that's with 1/2 tank of fuel and a passenger side seat / harnesses in place ). Pinion angle is set , tires are aired up , and I'm waiting to see if I can get some clear bra on the front of the car before we go on Friday. Kevin Patten
Both cars made it through the day - good shake down run . Got a sound check reading of 90.4db so we are under the required 92 db limit for the class . 07SGT4755 had two issues one being a problem with the connection with the starter relay in the EBC and the other being that the rear brake calipers are hanging up but eventually would free up after cooling down . All in all a good day !

redneckgt
So the cars did VERY well with only little bugs to work out on KP's (Albino500) car. It took like it seems forever, but the payoff seeing them go onto the track .............. and to drive by thenselves back onto the trailer unharmed, was WAY cool!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow here are some pic's of the cars at Leguna Seca That my beter half Kathy took Enjoy.....JJ

Kevin Patten
Started cutting up 07SGT2425 - gutted the interior and took off the passenger door to cut out the inside panel - not for the weak at heart - all lightened and bolted back on the car. Will cut up the drivers door this weekend .
