Baseline DYNO RUN 2012 GT500

Just did a baseline Dyno of my GT500, needed to see what kind of power she was making basically stock before doing any mods. I'm amazed at the power put down! I only did 2 runs but they were consistent. 504rwhp and 473 lbft! Go ford! Average loss from crank to wheel is usually around 20% that would mean we're making about 604 at the crank! I like how they underestimate the power that theyre making.

Good number at the wheels, but 20% would be a bit high for manual transmission RWD, average would normally be closer to 15% - and not busting your bubble, that still gives a gigantic number. Definitely seems to be underrated or perhaps you have a strong one

Edit, agreed most 2012's baseline runs are around 500 rwh that I've seen too. Have fun with the mods.

15% huh? Well still happy with that. There was a 2013 ZL1 automatic that ran right before me, put down 510 to the wheels.

I looked on YouTube to see others baseline dyno runs, numbers are all pretty consistent. Around 500 at the wheels.

Nice #'s with the mods you have, presume a DynoJet ? What corrections were applied, SAE J1349 or SAE J607 ? What did your A/F look like ?

My 2012 slapped 500 at the rear wheels stock. After a tune, pulley change and colder plugs, I dyno'd 3 times and all were consistent 569 RWHP, 540 Torq.
