shelbymotorsports
Can't find much on the web but according to this ebay seller Goodyear has re-released the Gatorback tire which is great news for anyone restoring a 1985 to 1990 Mustang GT. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GOODYEAR-GATORBACK-225-60VR15-FITS-1985-1990-MUSTANG-BRAND-NEW-/330772662027?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d0396470b&vxp=mtr Steve
dlangvardt
I had both a 1986 and 1988 Mustang GT which came new with these tires. I couldn't wait to get them off. They have really bad wet traction. In my opinion there are only good for a show car and not a driver.

Compared to today's tires they are no longer the ticket, especially at that price. What they are good for is someone restoring a 80's Fox body who desires the stock look.
