One of the mixers is held there, plus after the track, nice to go back to the same property as most everyone else, relax, have a cocktail, and chill with your freinds. Last year the banquet was held at Shelby (as it was the 50th celebration), not sure as to final details yet regarding the banquet, but I would not be surprised to see it at the host hotel...stay tuned Long story short, unless you have freinds in town you're staying with, or be being a comped the high roller suite at the Bellagio, stay at Southpointe One more thing...the parking lot is like a car show...(it is also covered and secured with posted guard) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On the SP on-line reso system I can get what is supposedly a "Shelby 51st Anniv" rate of $274.40 for three nights including tax. When I book with no discount code I get $276.64. What do you mean by Shelby car trailer? I'm in charge of setting up the parking for the show on Sunday. Can you tell me more about what you are speaking of and I can help out? With the tax it is $61.60 and $106.40 for the Fri and Sat. When I did it on the net there were some upgrades that were available for a price. Like a fridge for $8.00/day. Intech is the only authorized manufacture of Carroll Shelby trailers. My trailer is painted in exact paint code matches to my car. The trailer has Carroll Shelby signed on both sides and a ghost cobra on both sides. My trailer is the only trailer built that is car specific. The trailer is #3 of 5. I put a KC SLider floor in it. There is no other and will never be another Carroll Shelby trailer like this one. AND...a place out back to park my hauler/your trailer once you unload your car (or not). I get real good rates at the Wynn/Encore. Pretty close to what the So. Pt. is charging for the Bash. And let me tell ya, the rooms there are CONSIDERABLY nicer than at the So. Pt. Plus the casino, room service/menu, restaurants, etc. There is really no comparison. But the parking situation alone will take me to the So. Point. Ain't nowhere to park a hauler at the Wynn! I spiff the Head Valet to park my Shelby right up front in the "hash mark area" so there are NO cars anywhere near it so I'm good with the Valet at the Wynn/Encore but still...I don't know what I'd do with a 30' car hauler! Phill Plus you're on property with 99% of your friends, so if you have a few too many man pops...just stumble into the elevator...going off property at large events sux.. I agree on the Wynn being a more "upscale" property...the first Bash for Carrolls 85th Birthday was there as the host hotel, and it was AWESOME!
