ColdwaterHotrod
From the shelby website 4/27/2007 SHELBY GT500KR MAKES COVER OF MOTOR TREND'S JUNE 2007 ISSUE The cover story in the June 2007 issue of Motor Trend magazine about the new Ford Shelby GT500KR was written during the early development of the car. The initial vehicle unveiled in New York was a concept and final content for the production version had not yet been determined. As the terrific article was created during the fluid period leading up to the announcement of the KR at the New York Auto Show, some information is not correct for the production version of the vehicle including the potential MSRP. Subsequent data indicates that the significant list of KR enhancements means that the MSRP will probably be higher than estimated by Motor Trend. However, neither final pricing nor allocation of cars have been finalized at this time. In addition, the Shelby Automobiles team would like to acknowledge the significance of the Ford Racing partnership to create the new Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake that was included in the article. Their partnership in this program is appreciated and key to the performance of every Shelby Super Snake that will be built. http://www.motortrend.com/auto_shows/cover..._shelby_gt500kr http://www.shelbyautos.com/news.asp?id=
69b302
I read the article and there was no mention of improved rear LCAs and UCA. Hopefully SAI will address this issue, so buyers of the KR will not have to immediately purchase parts to effectively get the power to the pavement. Springs and sway bars are nice, but wheel hop sucks.
