I made a back-up run of 11.010 @ 129 right after trying to get in the 10's, but it just wasn't happening with the hot air. The next trip is to the chassis shop for a rollbar I guess. We did however have to replace the stock wheel studs with Moroso 46185's, which meant drilling out the holes in the factory hubs. Then we had to use billet aluminum wheel spacers and machine the hole in the middle of the spacer on our lathe to fit over the factory hub...all of which took lots of time. The spacer is .83" thick, we know wheel spacers are not the best setup, but with the aftermarket studs and the fact that they are billet and not cast aluminum we are comfortable running them on the track, this is by no means a street setup. The wheel is from Weld part# 786P-1704204 and the tires are M&H 26-4.5-17 DOT's. M&H was the only one I could find with a tire to fit the wheel. Before getting this wheel we tried a regular 15x3.5 Draglite with a 1 1/4" thick wheel adapter, but it had no chance what so ever of fitting on the car...these front rotors and calipers are huge. I'm going to get there as soon as this head goes away. I know I have a low (11.5 or better) time in me. I need to get the air pressure right and have a little cool air and i think it will be very low in the 11's. Wouldn't mind a bit nicer track too but this is only 45 minutes away so hard to complain. I know I have a low (11.5 or better) time in me. I need to get the air pressure right and have a little cool air and i think it will be very low in the 11's. Wouldn't mind a bit nicer track too but this is only 45 minutes away so hard to complain. I'm not sure when, but will probably be in Oct. some time when it's cooler, only mods when last there was CAI and tune. I would like to see you run ,,you've got a lot of mods going on. We can probably convince Alloy Dave, Cutter, and by then 5.4 Shelby to get up there and maybe a few others...69 Delux is here too and I think Gonein60seconds is another local guy. You can see a high 11 sec run in my video in the sig. from Muncie. It was my 2nd best run of the night - the first best came after the camera was gone on my last run of the night when the sun was down and the temps went from 90's to high 80's and i had let the car sit a while - it was still pretty hot though. I had to just bump it off the line and then nail it. I power shifted in to second and it went sideways for about ten feet. Lotta fun. Temp was 87 degrees, very hot at night here in Fla.
