2013 gt350 supercharged cooling question

Recommended Posts

Stock heat exchanger that is part of the Shelby/Ford Racing supercharger. It is a single pass exchanger meaning the cooling flows at a constant rate through the intercooler, located under the supercharger, than back to the heat exchanger. The cooling package consists of a larger radiator and much larger heat exchanger which is dual pass, meaing the coolant flows through the heat exchanger twice prior to returning to the intercooler. The Shelby cooling package heat exchanger also benefits from 2 "puller" fans mounted directly behind the heat exchanger aiding in additionl cooling to the fluid.

Important if you plan on running the car hard or are located in a "hot climate" to prevent "heat soak" to the supercharger unit. This will retard timing in the heat soak condition preventing loss of power and a "safer" zone meaing longer run time at max power vs. the standard heat exchanger.

Hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please contact one of our sales associates at 702.942.7325.
