Don JDWHSKY Theall 25695
Is this the same car that is at Carroll's collection in Gardena?
John Canfield
No, this the real deal Green Hornet owned by Craig Jackson of Barrett Jackson (or at least partial owner, I think he's in partners with someone else one this one). I think the car that was in Carrolls collection was a later re-pop for tribute purposes.

twobjshelbys
I would love to be at Scottsdale to see it and take pictures, but I can be almost certain that is not going to happen this (coming) year. Too much other stuff to do. Unless we decide to have a meeting there. That might be the kicker

Carl Bishop
I found this YouTube video of Carroll and the "Green Hornet"; Is this the real deal or a clone?
Doug_GT350
I heard stories that there were four of these cars.... One was crushed, Carroll has one, this one and a number four, that was kept at Ford, and has shown up at a number of shows in the Northeast.... is there any truth to this? John Canfield
Nope. the Green Hornet and Lil Red were built back in the day. The Lil Red coupe was crushed, and the Green Hornet managed to survive. Those are the only 2 Shelby coupes built back then, and one convertible whose story is equally well known. John Canfield
Shelby never owned this car personally, to the best of my knowledge. There was an extensive write up on it in Motor Trend Classics some years ago. It's been in the ownership of Craig Jackson for some time. The car was mainly used for experimentation of the fuel injection system and independent rear suspension. John Canfield
i am curious as well. If there are enough people there that appreciate it for what it is, I'm thinking something in the mid-200k range. If not, who knows, may be the steal of the century.
