Edwin Morrow
If both Bank 1 & Bank 2 Sensors are dirty, would this cause a mis-fire?
Nitro
Misfire is usually ignition or fuel, not sensors.
Edwin Morrow
I upgraded the supercharger to Ford Racing Whipple 750hp. With this I upgraded the intercooler heat exchanger. I enjoy track days at Road Atlanta, a 2.54 mile road course. A blast!! This past weekend was the first event with new SC. Unfortunately the engine became heat soaked within about 10 laps. The computer is designed to retard the timing and reduce the power to prevent damage. This can also cause the engine to misfire. The pro cal tool from Ford Racing is showing two codes: (P0141-2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2) & ( P0161-2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank Sensor 2). Any Clues?
