svtbolt2001
I have the shaker 500 and i think I recently blew a speaker. I was hoping to just buy the Kicker 8's and be finsihed but had a disturbing call today. I was informed by Kicker that the 8's are 2 ohm, not 1 ohm like the factory speakers. This would explain why some people are saying they take more power to make sound. My question is, What are people doing to get around this? I am not interested in giving up trunk space or adding much weight to an already heavy car. Would you just replace with stock? Are the Kicker 2 ohm 8's really not that bad? Thanks
