clark17357 Posted August 7, 2012 Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 Thanks for sharing that. It is amazing how the Lamborghini pretty much bounced off the Shelby. The Shelby driver was pretty talented as he absorbed the lateral hit, went into the grass a bit and then back on the track, made sure all the parts of his car were still working, and then floored it. clark17357 Posted August 8, 2012 Report Share Posted August 8, 2012 The video showed what appeared to be the Lambo going sort of under the rocker of the GT500 and, if so, the front end damage to the Lambo would indicate most of the energy of the collision was absorbed by the Lambo. The lateral movement of the GT500 upon impact likely lessened the kinetic energy transferred to the GT500. It would be nice to see the bottom side with it on a lift after the race.
