Double500 Posted August 3, 2012 Report Share Posted August 3, 2012 We are having our first all Mustang Car Show on August 25 to benefit the Commemorative Air Force Airpower Museum located between Midland and Odessa, Texas. Along with 18 classes, for an additional cost you can have a picture of your car made with a P51 Mustang or the Bombshell girls. Cavanaugh Air Museum in Addison, TX will also have their P51, "The Bratt III" there and you can purchase a ride. Motels in the area are a little high right now due to the oil boom but if you have a motorhome, travel trailer, or car hauler you can park it free of charge at the CAF Airpower Museum. There are no hookups so you'll have to run off generator power. If you arrive on Friday and want to park your car in the hangar over night there will be security provided. If we get enough response to this show we plan to make it an annual event and move it to the spring when it will be cooler. We also hope to add some vendors beginning next year.
