MustangFanatic
Just found this on The Mustang Source. What do you know, a Saleen I actually like!! For me this car is close to Boss perfection with a few minor changes such as the elimination of the exterior chrome front and rear. I would also make the striping and the shaker hood optional. So what does everyone else think, could we be looking at the basics for the Ford's own Boss? I find it hard to believe Ford didn't know of or have any involvement in some respect with this car. The biggest disappointment is the excessively high Saleen price tag. http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=46766 Here's some more photos from Saleen's website, enjoy!!! :happy feet: http://www.saleen.com/S302.htm
BossMan
I don't see how it could get any better that that. A 429 and a Boss its as good as its going to get. 35K
MustangFanatic
I sure hope Ford is paying attention to this car and utilizes it for their Boss S/E. The PJ Mustang is most definitely my favorite S197 Mustang produced by anyone, including Ford, Shelby, Saleen, Steeda and others. The car is almost the perfect Mustang - lean, low, clean and mean. In order to make it the "perfect Boss' it would need to be available in a variety of colors, elminate the cheezy chrome treatment front and rear, and make the both the hood and side stripes as well as the shaker hood optional. I'll take mine in Metallic Black sans Shaker Hood and side stripes :happy feet:
