I went to this last year and had a blast. This year I will be taking both my cars. I hope some of you can make up there to this show. The event this year is on August 4th. VaporDude Posted April 21, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 I was raised in Akron and graduated from Kenmore High in 75. Now you all know how old I am. Been to the football hall of fame several times. My dad still lives in Akron. I remember when Summit Racing was on Kenmore BLVD. I joined the Army when I was 23. THen one year Summit moved into this huge building. I have also been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a couple of times. It is only about 3 or 3 1/2 hours from Detroit also. Two years ago, my wife and I took a tour of the Rouge assembly plant but it was on shutdown at the time so nothing was moving. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
