crazybobracing
Yes, that is what launch control is. I think the launch control is a little to sensitive to wheel spin. A little wheel speed is good for drag racing and helps with momentum. Just my opinion.
STCOBRA
Both beautiful cars!!! Not really a fair race. Drag radials versus street tires. Also Camaro driver doesn't know how to drive-you fight with what you have though:) Chevy mph is very low-car alright?
Mark302
I saw a 2013 at our track on friday night. running 12.3-.5's@120-122 mph. He was a very good driver and the car was definately traction limited! I offered to make a pass in the car and he just kind of laughed at me (after knowing me for 2 minutes lol!) I am sure it would run 11's with some practice even with no traction. It sounds like he will let me try it which is cool!. In person it is pretty hard to tell it was a 13 because it was a black car with everything blacked out. Very cool though!
mustbbrent
Precisely, you understand the concept. Trap speed tells the tale. The car with the higher trap speed wins a roll race every time and is more fun to drive as it generally has a much better torque curve. You will never, ever have drag strip traction on the street. They don't prep and VHT intersections. They should... (prep and VHT) every intersection...
