old man
I used mothers on mine. It took a little elbow grease but turned out nice.

old man
I did mine by hand using a soft cloth. Some places would be hard to reach in the car with a tool I think. My grill was extremely dirty and appeared to have small pits in it. It is now much better and the pits are not noticed any more. You could remove the grill and then use the tool. I took mine out and changed the mustang emblem at the same time as the cleaning. I also purchased a new grill for future use as I have two GTH's, numbers 479, and you never know when you might need a spare. Clean one side at a time and you will see the difference.
