The bird has been circling the plant and rail yard looking for his car. The car can not be found anywhere. Birdie does say he is sorry to the many cars below that he accidently crapped on. You see that much Featherlax has a pretty good affect on the little birdie. The little birdie is now talking to Hit Girl and suggesting that she go track down the dealer and demand answers. It could get ugly. Little Birdie has influence on the clouds and may send a black one to hang over the dealers head. If this goes on too much longer that black cloud is going to turn into a little storm. Little Birdie is now requesting another box of featherlax from vapor08GT500 if additional work needs to be done on this venture. Birdie understands the Alex wants to be in his car so he can rock and roll down the road with his buds. Little Birdie went undercover and pulled the tracking documents. Alex's new Bossy 302 is no where to be found. I laughed at all the emotions added to the post, quite humorous!! I should add some Feather-Lax to my supplies....LOL Yes, Ted, it is a School Bus Yellow Laguna Seca. Half way through the model run now when I was promised an early build!! I will just be happy to get it at this point!! I have never waited this long for an ordered car!! Your car is going to be very special, it will be worth the wait. I was reading about the driving school at Miller Motorsports for Boss owners today on the plane. It sounds like a good time. The guy there has found that more than a few times unfortunately..a few times they were VIN numbers a dealer got off ebay or something so it would trace to a Boss, another time it was for a V6! Some dealers it seems take orders with an expectation of getting allocation. To be honest I don't see the big deal ordering. There are what 5 possible colors and two option packages? I have a contact at the plant I tried to get a hold of today but he was not in. Going to try him tomorrow to see if this VIN # is a bogus dud or a valid one. Ted, Congrats on your 13...hope you get it on Tuesday!! I love the Red Candy with white stripes!! I drove one in that color. My GT500 is being picked up on Thursday. I ended up getting cash and a Tungsten 07 Saleen Extreme Coupe with all options, 1 owner and only 7K miles that I will soon have up for sale. They are really fun cars. Thanks for the link Jeff. Glad you found it is built, it must be in transit now. Mine was built June 18th and it is sitting here in Portland now waiting for a truck. Your Boss is probably very close now. I might have to wait until Friday, my salesman is on vacation until then. I am going to go over tomorrow and see what's up. Good timing on your GT500, that Saleen sounds pretty nice. Never-the-less, I am excited to finally get the car soon and hopefully will get an email back as to what transit rail is shipping the car as is it supposed to be here around July 8th, according to him. 07SGT0547 Posted July 9, 2012 Report Share Posted July 9, 2012 Looking forward to following along with your BOSS BUILD thread And the best way I can describe the difference between the SGT and the BOSS is this: The Shelby GT is a great street car that you could take to the track... The BOSS 302 is a great track car that you can drive on the street... But I do miss the lowered stance of the SGT and the stock BOSS exhaust was kind of dull & boring until I removed the side exhaust plates Just replaced the OEM shifter with the complete MGW setup to fix the 3rd gear "issues" I was having at 7,000+ RPMs... I did a set of the Steeda Boss specific springs on a customer's car and really like they way they felt and the lowered stance, with out being slammed. You take care too. Hope to see you soon.
