This scenic route takes is about 105 miles and should take 2 1/2 hours to complete from start to finish. Police will be out and about as usual, so you are driving at your own risk. SLOW DOWN and obey all speed limits. IMPORTANT – please start this event with a full tank of fuel. DRIVING DIRECTIONS From: Summit Point Motorsports Park, 201 Motorsports Park Cir, Summit Point, WV 25446 US To: Mountain View Plaza, 140 Frederick Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788 US To: Gettysburg National Military Park, 97 Taneytown Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325 US To: Carlisle Fairgrounds, 1000 Bryn Mawr Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013 US A) Summit Point Motorsports Park, 201 Motorsports Park Cir, Summit Point, WV 25446 US GET 2 CARDS 1. Start out going north on Motorsports Park Cir/Speedway Dr toward Summit Point Rd. (go 0.24 miles) 2. Turn sharp right onto Summit Point Rd. ‐ If you are on Summit Point Rd and reach Hardesty Rd you've gone about 0.1 miles too far (go 6.97 miles) 1. Summit Point Rd becomes W Washington St. (go 2.04 miles) 2. W Washington St becomes US‐340 N (Passing through Virginia, then crossing into Maryland). (go 24.23 miles) 3. Travel about 11.4 miles to the Business 15, Steinwehr Ave. Exit and turn Left unto Business 15 towards Gettysburg, passing through the Gettysburg National Military Park into Gettysburg. ESTIMATED TIME: 23 minutes | DISTANCE: 19.16 miles C) Gettysburg National Military Park, 97 Taneytown Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325 US GET CARD 1. At the second traffic light turn left onto Baltimore St, Business 15, just pass the Shell Station on the right. 2. Continue following Business 15 and go halfway around the circle staying on Business 15 towards RT 34 North. 3. Continue straight Business 15 turns into 34 North towards Carlisle, passing through Biglerville and Mount Holly Springs. 4. Entering Carlisle go through 10 traffic lights and turn left onto Carlisle Springs Rd. just pass the Sonoco Station on the left. 5. Park at Gate 5 Carlisle Fair Grounds.
