TClark24CP
Are there any special events planned for honoring Mr. Shelby at this year's Nationals? I've never attended this event so any info is greatly appreciated. How much time does a driver get on the open track events? Is it wise to run my 2011 GT350 or would my full race prepared 65 Mustang be a better choice in terms of exposure to damage from some other driver? Very well organized. Great group of volunteers. Thursday and Friday at Hallett will get 5 sessions on track. They generally run about 15 minutes each. I'm sure there will be several late model GT350's on track. There are three classes of cars. Group I is race prepped, Group II is street modified and Group III is street. Group I and II can pass in straights only. Group III is probably paced and no passing. Saturday at Hallett is less crowded as most go to the drag strip. We can typically get 6 or 7 sessions in on Saturday.
