Bill Hamilton
Do a search and you'll see a few of us will recommend using Continental Extremecontact DW's for daily use. I'm just a little north of you and not worried about snow but wet weather handling was very important to me also as mine's a daily driver too. I've put 7,000 plus miles on the tires so far and they are so superior to the original Goodyear F1's that it's not funny. I went on Tirerack.com and compared about a dozen different tires and the DW's came out highest in the categories that were important to me, mainly wet handling as well as being one of the highest for dry also. Fantastic tires, I love them.
