frank bullitt
Hey fellows, anyone using the Shelby Strut caps with their KR? Concerned about hood clearance. Apparently you are not suppose to use them on the SS. Haven't heard anything about KR's. Thanks.

So those are the Shelby "Scott Drake" caps? No contact with the hood? Where did you get your fuse box cover from? Thanks

terumi71
The blue oval one worked. Thanks! Unfortunately, can't do it. I have adjustable shocks and the valve adjustment sticks up too high. Wouldn't be able to use the center caps. Could use the other nuts. But I don't think I'll pay that much for those nuts and not use the center caps. shelbypt
Thank you fcettner!! It was noticed the four caps were'nt installed when I took the picture. I had just installed the TVS and hadn't got to putting those four caps back on. But all the caps are on now and no hood clearance issues.

Do you have them in the rear too? Just curious. TIA

So wondering what you use to stick on the bolt caps shelbypt? Also, can anyone post the link where it tells you how to post a picture? I can't find the information via search etc. Thanks
mark289
I believe most people are using photo bucket to post pictures here. Copy the picture using the IMG option and paste it into your comment.
mark289
I tried the Blue Oval strut tower caps and it seems the threads were different on the center caps and the top of the strut. Anyone else have this issue?
