jerseygator
It's actually the GardenState Parkway. Not NJ Turnpike... I live off exit 8A.
shelbymotorsports
Wow... I'm more shocked by those two girls in the Evo. Wrong is wrong but that Evo driver put more lives in danger with his lack of driving skills. And I guess it doesn't say much if an Evo does not have enough power to keep up with a 4.6 3v Crown Vic. NJPat
i offered Gary Patterson my slot in the caravan, but he wisely said "NO" on a serious note, this "event" is getting a lot of negative press here in beautiful NJ, and can only hurt the public's perception of high performance auto clubs and groups. there can be a time and place for high performance driving (such as what many TS members experienced at Summit Point), but driving down the GS Parkway at (reportedly) 100 + mph, in a caravan, with other unsuspecting motorists on the road, is not the place. just my 2 cents. terumi71
I took the video for entertainment entertainment value. Just like this video. Laughed my ass off at the absurdity of it....and the commentator, like the nitwits in the Evo. Nitwits, but funny! http://www.break.com/index/window-stops-streaker-in-his-tracks-1982090 I think people with high performance cars are going to be people. Be it at Summit Point, or driving into Las Vegas before Summit Point. Or driving on the GSP. I think it's pretty honest to say that all of us, except me of course, have been over 100 on a highway. Another is in order I took it for entertainment. The kids were funny! And boy....what a slouch that Evo was! High speed on a crowded highway? Disturbing. Police escort with a history of police escort in this annual event? Disturbing. Barring the obvious loss of life being the most disturbing....barring that....I don't know which of the two is more disturbing. But from an entertainment viewpoint? Funny! Don Breech
Hilarious and dangerous at the same time. Beavis and Butthead in the Evo were a riot. In spite of the obvious danger to the public I couldn't help laughing myself silly at the dynamic duo doing the filming. Wonder if anyone in NJ can offer any follow up on what happened to the troopers involved (if anything).

One was a long time veteran making over $100k and the other was a newer NJSP making $75k.
