wtf is with this belt

I joined this site to speak to the geniuses. I have a 2010 GT500. 2.7 upper, 6lb lower, other minor mods... the belt was replaced due to belt slip and noises.. before the slip the power was 558rwhp. After was in the 400rwhp.. replaced the belt noise went away and power seemed restored.. put a ported eaton on and this thing feels like a hesitation.. the tune is due and is coming but I hear this belt noise creeping back... this car ran 12.0 with just the upper.. then went the slip was there ran 12.8.... with nitrous ran 11.8.... why
