Absolutely gorgous. Who is the current owner? Says it is an "ex" director of production.

I believe it is number 1 production model as the prototype/concept was grabber and had the fog light grille and normal exhaust.

The orange car was at SEMA at the same time as the 0001C. But at that time it was only the appearance package, no supercharger. It got the power upgrade at a much later time, so the Ford execs can have some fun.

I was the director of production when Shelby Autos was restarted by Amy. The concept car was part of my contract to come and work for Carroll...

The 0001C car was all hand built for SEMA, even the stripes are painted. The orange car had vinyl stripes....

AJ,

+1000

Wish it could be me... I'd be making payments for a looong time....

Hope it is one of us.

This is just an amazing car and a great part of the TRT, Terlingua and Shelby history.

Dave,

If I was independently wealthy, I would sell you this car for a $1. Because I know it would end up in the best hands.

But, unfortunately for you, I haven't won the lottery lately (or ever)... :(

AJ,

That is truly a kind sentiment. If I had the ability to buy it at its worth now I would in a second.

It is a great car and you are truly kind.

Make AJ' a 'very good' offer on 'Terlingua 0001C' and I will include,

Terlingua 08 CSM#17 as part of the deal, for the right price.

I'm sure AJ and I can come up with a dollar amount for both cars.

(Howdy AJ...'what do ya think? Maybe a "Two 'Fear the Bunny', Terlingua Sale") :peelout::peelout:

your big buddy,,,,, aka 'big larry'

:salute:

  • 1 month later...

The Concept Bunny 0001C has been sold. Her new home is in Great Bend, KS.

Went to a great home and is now part of an important collection of Shelby cars.

Very sad to see her go, but it was time. Life is too short...
