Torch40
After running the track at Spring Mountain and downshifting from 5th to 2nd a couple times the Mayor convinced me to put in an MGW MT-82 shifter. Since Michael had already installed one on his GT350 I let him “assist” me for my installation. :shades: In other words, he installed it, I handed him stuff. All the parts ready go. Remove all the stuff and you have a hole. You need to get under the car to as well to get everything undone. Stock parts go into storage. MGW stuff going back in. They do a good job of providing sound proofing. Almost there. Back together ready for Laguna Seca next week. I also put on my track wheels and tires. This part I could handle. MMcGuirk
Tony I had my MGW on the track at Spring Mountain. It works really well. Positive gear engagement and nice short throw

Torch40
Andy, Are we to assume the 40th is retired from track duty now that the 350 is in the barn? Oh no. I have not driven the GT350 full tilt yet on Laguna Seca. The fastest color will be back on track soon.
Slabo
Oh no. I have not driven the GT350 full tilt yet on Laguna Seca. The fastest color will be back on track soon. But you don't have a black car.

There is a little bit of a whirring sound on the street that is transferred up through the drive train. For the track this shifter is the way to go. I had a blast running with my bud with a Boss 302.
