2011SHELBYGT500CONV Posted March 24, 2012 Report Share Posted March 24, 2012 Yea that's what they first put out, but then I was reading an article, I think it was Motortrend and they put in if you don't order the Trak-Pack that has the extra coolers (Rearend.Transmission, etc) they will limit the speed to 155. BOOGIEDOWN GT500 Posted April 1, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 1, 2012 im still having a hard time believing that this cars top speed can be achieved without the performance pack ( at least safetly). suspension is just as important as power when it comes to achieving a car maximum velocity. just a thought. Not dogging it but I have a feeling not everyone will be ready for this beast. Any stock 2010-12 Shelby GT-500 will run 185'ish at the redline in 5th gear with the only the 155 mph limiter removed.
