Cobra 29 Posted February 26, 2012 Report Share Posted February 26, 2012 I found a ploy bushing hardware kit (M-5490-A) from Ford Racing. It includes poly bushings, new hardware with grease fittings for both front and rear sway bars. Will this hardware kit fit the original front and rear sway bars on a 2008 GT500? This kit is supposed to fit the M-5490-A front and rear bars. The upgraded handling kit from Ford, M-2007-Fr3SVT, contains the M-5490-B front and rear bars which I assume are larger than the M-5490-A which might be stock. socalwrench Posted February 27, 2012 Report Share Posted February 27, 2012 I think you mean stiffening. The FR and GT500 brackets should be the same, just make sure the bushing ID is correct.
