Each year, they do a track comparo at VIR with cars in various price range. The Boss 302 Laguna Seca finished with the best lap time in its price class, and fourth overall out of 20 cars. Among others, it was quicker than the BMW 1M, Porsche Cayman R and Audi TT RS. Bill Hamilton Posted January 25, 2012 Report Share Posted January 25, 2012 In C&D's Lightning Lap last year I think I was more impressed with the 3.7L V-6 Mustang than anything else. It had a very good lap time plus for 20 seconds it was bounding off the 114 mph top speed limiter. I wondered how it would have done if it had not been limited?
