svttim
Both are great cars, I truly believe, knowing some people at Ford, the GT500 will beat down the ZL-1 in all catagories. But, If you lke the Camaro better, go for it. If not, wait

GT500bro
The new ZL1 has gotten extremely positive road test reviews. We can only hope that the 2013 Shelby will make great use of the 650 horsepower, 600lbs torque and suspension changes to best the ZL1 in all categories. Can't wait to see the results. Whammer
If you're buying based on performance it's too early to tell, it will take several more months until we get reliable reviews. If you're buying based on styling then buy which ever one appeals to you more. If you're buying on price we'll have to wait till we see what the ADM's on these cars are like. MY500SS
Follow your gut and you can't go wrong.................Back in 06, my gut told me GT500 over the Z06 and I've been very happy. But I'd still like a Z06.
ItalianStallion
Over time the GT500 will always have that Shelby one of a kind character to itself. Just my 2 cents
wanted2b
Thanks Gentlemen for your input. I have one more decision to make. Keep what I have and install the 750 HP SC kit to it.

You have a very capable car, certainly, that will make it a bit more capable. Not a bad choice.
