S8MS-01904
Looking at a '08 KR (Silver) that merely has the Shaker500 radio option. What's the number of these built this way. Gotta believe low in production but no less or more desirable. At least it's the fastest, cause it's lighter, right???
dbackg
Shaker 500 came standard with the Ford factory navigation. Does it have the navigation?
S8MS-01904
No navigation, just the "basic" radio.
SteelTownStang
I've had/have both... the Shaker 500 and 1000. The “sound” difference is negligible. Someone may have ordered the car with the same foresight and decided to save the extra $1,300. Definitely not a deal-breaker if you like the car... S8MS-01904
I've always "thought" the Shaker1000 was cool, but the underlining issue is "good" car first, then options (if any). This one has "zero" options except the unique KR package and Sat. radio bonus for the Shaker500.

One that I was interested in only had the Shaker500 and no Nav, located in SE Mich.

Captain Beyond
I have the Shaker 500 with no navigation in mine. This was actually what I was looking for because it is 70 lbs. lighter (according to Ford) than one equipped with the Shaker 1000. Besides, I never listen to it because the KR exhaust is music to my ears.
YZD263
Cars with Shaker 500 and no nav mus be quite rare. I checked Ebay and other sites all summer looking for a KR. All those that I saw either had the Shaker 1000 or the nav. I have the Shaker 1000 in mine, but I agree with Captain Beyond, the KR exhaust sounds so good that I dont tend to listen to radio that much. Cali_KR
The Shaker 500 sounds plenty good, when not listening to the melodic staccato of the KR's exhaust. Nav is a waste of space and money....Got smartphone...but alas, mine came with the car. But I was checking off the option list at the time the car was new, the Nav and that ridiculous ambient lighting would be left unchecked..
