750 HP

OK! I'm making plans on installed a KB SC this winter and need to know what mods to do to prepare for all that power.

Where do I need to start. From what everyone is saying that traction is a problem and there are several things to do.

I like to do things once and do them right. I don't care for trial and error. Especially when I have to pay someone labor to do this for me.

Thanks for any and all recommendations.

Well since I have reached the 725 rwhp level I have broken my tranny and rear end twice, if that is any indicator of what will need to be upgraded.

Ouch! What broke on them, and was it on launch?

I had the Kenne Bell 2.8 on my 2009 GT500 and was putting down 680 rwhp with the 3.0 pulley (17-18lbs boost). First thing to upgrade was the driveshaft to a 1 piece which I got from Justin at VMP performance and 2nd was the Roush Upper control arm which TOTTALLY eliminated the wheel hop from my car. Other than that your gonna need a good set of tires to hookup. Car is just sick with all that power.

Not to rain on you KB parade but have you considered the VMP TVS? Install is a snap and you'll get almost the same power without all the other mods needed with the KB, i.e. hood notching, BAP, injectors etc. Just something to think about.

dont try to speed shift the 6 speed... good by syncros.

I speed shift mine all the time. 3 years old (2010) and not a problem in the world.

I DO wait for the trans to warm-up before I get crazy though.
