sprint200 Posted March 27, 2007 Report Share Posted March 27, 2007 I took the Shelby out to Hallett Saturday. Rode with an instructor for three sessions and drove with him for three, then solo'd. I learned a lot for my first time on a road course (mainly, how much I don't know.... ) But I HAVE to finish the suspension mods before June for sure. Oh yeah and the tires I bought...not so great. BFG G-Force Sport 275/35/18's. Right size, right price, not the right performance. Two outta three...IS bad. Aside from being scared to death of wrecking the thing, I had fun. Hallett is a very tight, technical course so you don't get to wind her up (I got into 4th for about 1-2 seconds on the 2 long straights).
