RogerS
Guess that applies to anyone who modifies after it leaves SAI. I can understand that. Roger
bitatasg
Not to sound like an A-hole here, but how is this thread dead in the water? No responses for 2-weeks. I personally don't care as I'm getting the 624 (so no warrantee), but I'd have some questions if I had a 525 on order... Maybe I'm missing something. GT500-07
Yep. by Ford or SA?
bitatasg
by Ford or SA? It was my understanding that the 624 voids Ford's engine/power train warrantee and the 525 doesn't. Roger is the one to answer this though.
DubbsFaris
Your warranty is through Ford. If you do the 525 or NA, warranty claims go through Ford- unless it is a problem with parts that are not Ford-(the body parts switched out, the Baer brakes, the upgraded suspension-those would be Shelby) If you have any questions, call Shelby American. This forum is a useful tool to get answers from time to time, but I don't think it should be an expectation that you get a timely answer on every thread. I come here almost everyday, and topics get buried easily and I miss a lot of discussions myself. If you are just asking opinion questions, this forum is great, as is the sharing of experiences and issues, but for customer service, I pick up the phone or send an email. Roger ALWAYS answers my questions timely that route.
David Simpkins
Warranty questions are best answered by Ford Motor company or by Shelby American. Not on a thread in any forum. Go to the source.
