mwjones56
I have an 07 GT500 with 41k miles. My clutch started slipping on the way to the Midwest Shelby Ford Nats in Tulsa.Took it to Ford and they said it wasnt their problem,so I tried my extended warrenty and they said it didnt cover the clutch.I thought these cars had clutch problems and Ford fixed them.Anyone know something about this. jcthorne
Are you planning to ask the same question in every section of the forum? Worn out clutch sucks, but you get to buy a new one and have some more fun with the car. Either have Ford install a new one or get a better one from McLeod and have an independent shop install it. poohtang
I suggest you try another dealer. If you follow my thread on clutches in the GT500 Super Snake forum, you'll see i just had my second clutch warranty installed. There have been at least 2 different TSBs on the clutch and Galpin (my dealer in southern CA) had absolutely no issue replacing under my extended warranty, even with my car being a Super Snake. All dealers are NOT the same!! Good Luck.
