Poll for GT500 Owners - How many miles?

Anticipate 800 a month, it is my daily driver, would not have it any other way.

Love the color. I only have 1200 on the car. It's almost a year old already (bought November 2007). One of the reasons why I don't drive it that often is because here in Hawaii traffic is SO bad during rush hour and it rains on and off.

 

Here's a quick question for all the GT500 owners, now...I was walking one day and saw this car...is this the "elusive" Mustang Cobra or is this someone who modified a Mustang to look like a Cobra. I know the older models had the COBRA on the bumper. (Photos taken using my camera phone)

 

 

Please enlighten me...all I know at the moment, there are only 2 GT500 convertibles and 2 GT500 coupes on the island of Oahu. I happen to own one of the convertibles. The dealer who sold me the convertible is supposed to get a GT500KR sometime next month.

I have 4900 miles on the car and it is about a year old. We took it on vacation to Shelby in Vegas. That was worth about 2700 miles. Love the car!!!

I live outside of Edmonton Alberta, and winters can be long and cold. Bought the car in late Sept. 07 and started enjoying it right away. Put on about 1500 miles a month when weather is good. Went to Terlingua Tx. at end of Sept. Most awesome 6000 miles in a car that is "Meant To Be Driven". Just rolled over 26500 km. / 16500 miles.

I think it is a customized V6 Mustang, judging by the front bumper cap and the wheels.

Picked my '07 Red/white coupe up in Alabama Feb. 14, '08 with 6 miles on the clock. Drove it 350 mi. home.

As of now, it has 2,964 on it. Funny thing, the Southeast was in a severe drought until I bought my Shelby. Seemed like every time I had a day off it was raining. I try not to drive it in bad weather, but she has gotten wet.

 

No problems with the clutch, so far *fingers crossed*.

 

To those that are concerned with putting miles on their GT 500, I bought this car to drive and do not plan to ever sell it. My $.02 :burnout: I'm gonna let my heirs worry about the loss in value

I figure it is going to be twenty years before it goes from a cool used car to a collector's item, so why not enjoy it every day.

I have not seen yours at the games at the Tank? In fact the only GT500 I have ever seen around the Tank is mine.

 

Since this is the mileage thread my SVT production #12 just hit 80k miles and the Clutch TSB was put in 2k miles ago. All good thus far.

4210 since 2/22/2008....daily driver and eveyone knows me in town! Man I love this car!!

Well just turned 8700 miles. Just had TSB done on my clutch...like a whole new car. Smooth shifting and a very light pedal push. Should have had this done many miles ago. No more 1st to 2nd gear crunch or hissing when clutch is disengaged
