GrabberO
Actually 2 first today…….a beautiful day in northern Michigan so it was time to take the Shelby out for her first tank of gas, first cruise and eagerly waited for the supercharger to kick in. At 16.6 miles, this tremendous engine came to life, and life just got better!!! Wow….what a great cruise along the shore of Lake Michigan, clean roads, sunshine and a car that just wants to eat up the road….life is good!!! A few shots at the beach today, spring is truly in the air!!

ColdwaterHotrod
GrabberO? Where are you located? I'm in Lower Michigan & it's only a COLD 37 degrees out with 15-25 mph winds. Wait until it's above 60 degrees & the tires will hook up better, then you will really say WOW!
RUFDRAFT
I love the color! Did you get a chance to take a short swim? Enjoy, bro!
SCGT500 Co Pilot
Very nice pics, thanks for sharing. I have to ask, is that sand or ice on the water in the background of your pics? After reading Coldwaters post about it being 37 degrees where he is, I'm thinking it's ice on the water.

Cold, we have a place in the Charlevoix area and decided the roads up here would be perfect for excellent cruising this summer. Yesterday Lake Michigan was wide open but the westerly winds blew the ice in today. It was truly a spectacular day here in northern Michigan, bright blue skies, blue water, ice and a Grabber Orange Shelby…..

It was truly a spectacular day here in northern Michigan, bright blue skies, blue water, ice and a Grabber Orange Shelby….. I know that area well. I do a lot of snowmobiling around Gaylord, Waters, Mancelonia, Bellaire, Traverse City, Alba areas. Matter of fact I was up at Boyne Mtn. 4 weeks ago. Sometime this spring I want to go to the Mighty Mac & get pictures of my car with the bridge in the backgound when things start to bloom. Is this your vaction home in Charlevoix? Jolly Roger
My inlaws live on the south shore of Lake Charlevoix about a mile east of the Ironton Ferry. I'll keep my eye out for you next time I'm up there, GrabberO! B)
GrabberO
IMO....the Mac Bridge is the best looking of them all, would make a great prop for a photo shoot. Now a shot of the Shelby on the Ironton Ferry is a great idea!!

Not sure if it will be before The INDY 500 cause that's another spot I'm heading to with it. I use to work for some race teams down their & I'm going to try to pull some strings to get my car on the track for a few photos in front of the Pagoda.
