et9secstang Posted May 28, 2011 Report Share Posted May 28, 2011 Ok I need some help with the shitfer in my car, I have a 07 and I recentially installed a new clutch, The car had a steeda shifter in the car which I replacwed with a NGW. The NGW in a nice shifter, I highly recommend that shifter,anyway ,When I removed the trans I noticed that the factory shifter lever at the swivel seems like it has a lot of play.Now with the new shifter when I put it in gear the shifter lever moves around a lot.I know it isn't the shifter.It has to be the lever that bolts to the trans I double checked the lever several times and it is tight.Has anyone else ever ran into this before, thanks in advance.
