Ford blue blood
Had a blast at the Talledega Super Speedway this morning! The manager of the facility teamed up with the Red Cross to open the track. $50 for five laps behind a pace car and $10 for a picture coming out of turn 4. All cost of the event were born by the track, the track personnel donated their time. They ran the event for three days and it seemed very successfull given the constant flow a vehicles taking a run. This was a bucket list item! Would have liked to get the speed up a little more but did manage to keep 115 for almost a complete lap, that lap was held down to that speed by the vehicles in front of me. al ellison
You said it, this is a bucket list item. It is big fun, thanks for sharing. Please post in and watch our Mississippi Valley Team Shelby forum (regional TS clubs). These are great events and it would be even better with a few more Shelbys out there. Great photo and clearly the fastest color!
fcettner
Yeah - Heard about that on Sirius NASCAR radio. Wish I lived closer...well worth the effort and to have some fun at that. Nice picture.
