Jody
I am having the TSB done to the clutch/trnasmission in two weeks. I am going to have an Axle Exchange drive shaft installed at the same time. Do I need to have the pinion angle checked? Is the pinion angle changed when SAI lowered the car (on the KR)? Does the new one piece require the pinion angle to be changed? Would an adjustable uca be the only part needed for adjusting the pinion angle? I read in a previous post that the pinion angle should be aroud -2 degrees, is this correct? Where is the best customer service and prices for purchasing Steeda lower and upper control arms? When are adjustable LCA needed? Thanks

jsarkis
Yes, have the pinion angle checked. For the most part any time you lower a car, the pinion angle changes. The new one piece most likely will need the pinion angle adjusted, depends if you feel a vibration at high speeds. Yes, and adj. uca is what is needed for a pinon angle adjustment. Most have luck with -1 to -4 degrees: Ford spec is -1 to -3 degrees. Not sure on where the best prices for Steeda are. Most won't ever need adj. lca
Jody
What was the price of having that done if you don't mind me asking. Free, installing it while doing the TSB, the stock drive shaft will have to be removed anyway. Just installing the one piece driveshaft while it's out.
