2010KonaBlueGT
I just got the shelby coolant tanks, can i change the radiator tank without draining the complete radiator ? Thanks, Mike Yeah, just get a drain pan and put it under your car where the radiator drain is. I think it's on the right end of the radiator, a white plastic plug facing down. Open your radiator overflow tank, open the drain on the bottom of the radiator and drain it until the coolant level can't be seen in the overflow tank. I'd go just a little farther so the level is below the top of the radiator top row. Just put the drain plug back in when you think you have enough fluid out. Change your tank, take the coolant you collected in the pan and pour it back in the radiator tank. Simple as that.
