steve-o-500
I loved following this thread. John, you are a huge part of that history. Make no mistake, the "party of 15" is indeed a unique and privileged group. Thank you for sharing the story John.
John Allen
When we get the final numbers we somehow have to get a 40ths reunion party going. Somewhere in the middle of the country like.... California Hummm! Is California still part of this country???

DubbsFaris
Not that I have a 40th, but I think the best idea would be to do a reunion in CO, near John, since he set the original party up in the first place and CO is pretty much an easy drive for CA, OK, and TX residents...that makes up probably 10 or more of the 15 right there, and the roads in CO would be a BLAST to drive the 40ths on! John Allen
Well we have the Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup in Steamboat Springs, CO every June. It would be cool if timing would work for that. http://www.rmmr.org/

GT500FLYBOY
I think at some point they consdered a laser etching for the handles, though it apparently compromised the integrity.
Slabo
I'm glad no one tried to laser etch my knob. Wouldn't want to compromise it's integrity.

I'll take a picture, they are really very cool.
