My billet GT500 caps arrived today so I set about installing them. The washer cap has to be modified to fit the 2010+. I clipped the retainer cable, carved off the tab at the front on the stock cap so that the cap is round and popped out the nylon insert from the billet cap. Then I cut a notch in the billet cap using a hacksaw blade and filed it smooth for the hinge to fit in. Then I used some 3M two-side tape to attach the billet cover to the stock cap. I found the info for modding the cap in this forum.

Looks good!!

I got the cap set from Tasca off ebay for my SGT last week and it should arrive anytime now. Thanks for the tips and can't wait to get mine installed to finish off my tanks. I'll probably have to do some creative engineering for my Moroso power steering tank cap.

Looks Great :happy feet: I have a 2011GT500 Grabber Blue and just looking at your car, I will order Today the dress up kit for my GT500.

Another option to a really sharp Cap kit for a grabber blue are these:

Yeah they look great. But I had a tough enough time justifying spending $324 on non-performance parts that you rairly see, let alone the approx. $600 on that set.
