I was planning to have them powder-coated… then just painting them all red… then red w/white letters… then polished... etc. I wanted them to look OEM and not overbearing. While contemplating I noticed the SVT emblem that I had installed on my radiator cover and decided to match it. Some tape, sand paper, paint, and voila. I’m satisfied… for now. SteelTownStang Posted May 19, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 19, 2011 Thanks. Actually, I used a small foam roller... You can see it in the 2nd pic. I used a brush to touch-up/finish... I worked fast ensuring that the paint remained wet to help it self-level giving it a "sprayed-like" appearance. The roller worked great, hitting just the top surface of the letters.
