cwa2wa2011
I have a 2011 GT500 without the performance package. I will be taking it out to the track this weekend (road course) and inquiring on the pressures I should set the tires at. The car has the Goodyear Eagle F1 (P255/40Z 19; front and P285/35R 19; rear). I appreciate any and all feedback.Thanks.
MichaelP
I ran stock tire pressures on my 2010 GT500 for the first few events that I attended and did not seem to have any issues. I would start here and every time you finish a run measure your tire pressure and keep a log. M.

MMcGuirk
Monitor your pressure hot. You will probably want to keep the pressure at or below 42 lbs hot. My starting point cold for 275 40 18s is 32 lbs.

Now, I just need to keep it off the walls good idea.. some tracks will make you pay for damage to the grass or tire walls or other barriers you destroy.. they are not cheap. take out some HPDE track insurance for you car as well... M. this will get you in the mood to race..
