dffej51
I just received an AirAid high flow replacement filter for my 2010 GT500. Original equipment air filter is easy to take on and off. Can't get the AirAid to slip on. Any tricks or hints? Do I have to remove anything to get it on correctly? Thanks for your help.
Hpfisterer
I had the same issue, its really tight. I just kept working it (pushing, squeezing, twisting) until it went. It will go on a lot easier aftet its been on for a while. I took it off to install the ford inlet tube and it went back on without any trouble. dffej51
Loosen the band as much as you can. I had the same problem until I did that. yes, after much struggle, loosening the band as much as possible turned out to be the solution. Thanks to everyone for their input. jtp1947
That's why I don't work on my car much. Can't even put on a stupid air filter without a struggle! Start out thinking this will be a snap, it's only an air filter. 30 minutes later, a lot of swearing, and it's done.
