A10ACN Posted February 27, 2011 Report Share Posted February 27, 2011 Seeing as how the Super Snake has CF bits sprinkled around (some with dubious value), wouldn't a CF hood seem to make more sense for the place and purpose of this car?? Plasan was able to manufacture the KR hood, splitter and both mirror caps/covers for $3,800.00. BMR (or is it BMC?) sells a Super Snake style Carbon Fiber hood for $2,500.00. Shelby sells their fiberglass Super Snake hoods for something like $1,450.00. I don't think another $1,000.00 for a carbon fiber hood on a SUPER Snake is all that out of line. Like I said, a CF hood isn't that much more than a FG hood and if you're a "top of the line" modifyer like Shelby claims to be, why not add a CF hood to your SUPER Snake offering.
